Juventus did a really good job on the road against Atalanta over the weekend, where they came back from one goal behind to grab a point. They have not been in the best of shapes lately and will not have an easy match coming up either, as they will host Sampdoria on Saturday. Sampdoria have been in fine form lately and can certainly be competitive here.
Juventus (16-0-2) are coming into this match after a really hard-fought 2-2 draw on the road against Atalanta. They lucked out in the opening minutes when their opponents scored an own goal but had to come back from one goal behind while playing with ten men in order to salvage a point from their match. They are still leading the Serie A though, with 50 points. They have been equally strong at home so far (8-0-1), where they have scored 17 goals and have conceded just 4. They have won each of their last four home matches in all competitions, all accompanied by clean sheets.
Sampdoria (8-5-5) are enjoying a really good season in the Serie A so far, as they are currently sitting at the 5th spot of the league table. They are sitting inside the spots that grant entrance to the European competitions next season and will be looking to hold on to their streak. They are now undefeated in their last seven matches in all competitions (5-0-2). Sampdoria have been mediocre on the road so far (3-3-3), having won just once in their last five away matches (1-2-2) but scoring in each of their last six. The problem is their defense, as they have kept just a single clean sheet in that span.
