Sampdoria (9-8-6) will be furious about the 1-0 loss at home against Frosinone in their last match. They pretty much dominated their opponents in that match but paid the price for a cheap goal at the first half. They have not been in very good shape lately, winning just once in their last six (1-3-2). Sampdoria are 9th in the Serie A with 33 points, just four behind the top five spots.
