Russia at Belgium 3/21/19 - EURO Cup Qualifiers Picks & Predictions

Two teams that finished 2nd in their respective UEFA Nations League groups will now clash against one another for the EURO Cup Qualifiers. Belgium suffered a shocking defeat in their last match of the UEFA Nations League and were stuck at 2nd place. The same thing happened to Russia who lost to Sweden and missed the chance to promote.

Belgium were on track to top Group A of the UEFA Nations League where they competed against Switzerland and Iceland. After winning their first three matches they only needed a draw or even a small-scale loss in order to top the group. They took a two-goal lead against Switzerland but somehow managed to lose badly by a massive 2-5. That left them in the second place but it is the EURO Cup that the Belgians should be aiming for. Russia also had a similar mix-up in their own group in the UEFA Nations League. They were undefeated in their first three matches (2-0-1) and needed at least a draw or the smallest of losses against Sweden in order to top it. However, they lost by 0-2 in Sweden in their final match and were forced to drop to the 2nd place of the group. Russia have won just three of their last 10 away matches and should not have high hopes here (3-5-2).
