Rotherham at Man City 1/6/19 - FA Cup Picks & Predictions

Manchester City did a great job in the crucial match against Liverpool for the Premier League and lit a new fire in the league. They are starting to get back in solid form and will now have a great chance to extend their winning streak when they will host Championship side Rotherham on Sunday for the FA Cup.
Manchester City are coming off a massive win against Liverpool at home that kept them alive in the chase of the title. They took the lead in the first half but Liverpool pulled even in the 64th minute, only for Sane to score the winning goal just eight minutes later. After going win-less in three consecutive matches in all competitions, Manchester City have now won two in a row. However, they have failed to keep a single clean sheet in their last 11 matches in all competitions. They have been awfully good at home so far (13-2-0) but haven’t kept a single clean sheet in their last six. Rotherham are not having the best of seasons in the Championship so far and will surely fight to avoid the relegation. They are now sitting at the 21st spot of the 24-team league with 25 points, just three ahead of the red line. In their last match they actually won by 1-2 at home but it was their first win after a massive nine-match win-less streak (0-4-5). They have not won any of their 14 away matches in all competitions (0-9-4) and have conceded multiple goals on eight occasions so far.
The two teams last met in the 2001/02 season in the Championship, where Manchester City won by 1-2 at home before a 1-1 draw on the road. This time around they are a powerhouse compared to their opponents and this should be a fairly easy job for City.
