Real Salt Lake at Seattle Sounders 4/6/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

The Seattle Sounders have easily been one of the best teams in the MLS in this new season. They are coming off a tough draw against Cascadia rivals Vancouver in their last match but they have yet to suffer a single loss. They will now return home after two away matches, and they will play host to Real Salt Lake on Saturday.

Seattle (3-0-1) made a perfect start in the 2019 season when they won their first three matches. They scored a whopping ten goals in that span and conceded just three. But in their last match they were stuck at a goal-less draw on the road against Vancouver. It wasn’t a bad result for the Sounders who extended their undefeated streak to four matches. They are sitting at the 2nd spot of the West with 10 points, just as many as Houston and FC Dallas below them. All three are three points off LAFC. Real Salt Lake (1-3-1) also made a really solid start in the new season with four points from their first two matches. But things took a turn for the worse since then, as Real Salt Lake lost each of their next three matches, conceding 11 goals in the process. In their last match they saw an early red card that opened up the room for FC Dallas to beat them by 4-2. Real Salt Lake are slipping right now, and are currently sitting at the 8th spot of the West with 4 points.
