DC United did a great job to avoid the loss when they clashed against New York City FC and are still undefeated in the new season. They will look to extend their streak to three matches when they will host Real Salt Lake on Saturday. Real Salt Lake are also undefeated in the season and this is going to be a strong match between the two.

DC United (1-0-1) fought really hard in their away match against New York City FC. The first half was somewhat balanced but the hosts looked clearly better. The second half was a one-sided affair but DC United managed to keep the clean sheet and grabbed a point from that goal-less draw. In the premiere they had easily beaten Atlanta United by 0-2 at home and are now 2nd in the Eastern Conference. Real Salt Lake (1-0-1) played a really balanced match at home against Vancouver last week, grabbing all three points. They were awarded a penalty kick at the 21st minute and Rusnak didn’t fail to convert. Vancouver had some chances to equalize but Real Salt Lake kept the clean sheet and the three points. In the premiere they split the points in a 1-1 draw against Houston on the road.
