Chicago Fire are coming off a bad loss the US Open Cup against a USL side. They have been in really bad shape over the past couple of months but will now return home after three consecutive away matches to host Real Salt Lake on Saturday.

Chicago Fire (4-6-6) met a tough 1-2 loss on the road against USL side Saint Louis and are now eliminated. That was the second consecutive loss for Chicago, who are now win-less in their last five matches in all competitions (0-3-2). For what it’s worth, Chicago scored in four of those five matches. They are sitting at the 9th spot of the Eastern Conference with 18 points, one outside the playoffs. Chicago have been solid at home so far in the season (4-1-3), keeping three clean sheets in the process.
