Manchester United kept on their winning streak under coach Solskjaer and he is now the 2nd manager in Premier League history to win his first four matches. United will now have a seemingly easy job in the FA Cup when they will play host to Championship side Reading on Saturday.
Manchester United were in total control of their away match against Newcastle on Wednesday, where they emerged victorious by 2-0. They made a strong start but scored twice in the second half to meet their fourth consecutive win but it was their first clean sheet after eight consecutive matches. Manchester United have not been very strong at home throughout the season but have been excellent in the past two months (5-0-2).
Reading are having a miserable season in the Championship so far, as they are sitting at the penultimate spot of the league table with 20 points. They are already five points below the relegation zone and they really have their work cut out for them. In their last match they suffered a massive 4-1 loss at home against Swansea, who had scored all four goals by the start of the second half. They are now win-less in their last ten matches (0-5-5) and have scored just six goals in that span.
