FC Barcelona will restart their La Liga campaign away from home as they face Mallorca at the Iberostar Stadium. 

Mallorca have struggled this season and are currently in the relegation zone with only 25 points from their 27 games. The defense has been the biggest issue for Mallorca this season with the team already having conceded 44 goals. There is no structure in the Mallorca defense and that has allowed most teams to score. That being said, Mallorca had a good run prior to the halt of La Liga with the team only losing 1 out of their last 3 games. That being said, this is expected to be a very tough match for Mallorca as they are playing an elite side in FC Barcelona. 

Looking at FC Barcelona, the team will want to restart their season strongly as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the La Liga ladder. As it currently stands, FC Barcelona are 1st in La Liga with 58 points from their 27 games. FC Barcelona currently have a 2 point advantage of Real Madrid. Considering the small lead FC Barcelona possess, it will be important that the team starts the restart strongly. FC Barcelona are filled with superstars and it will be up to the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Leo Messi to lead the side. This should not be a hugely challenging match for FC Barcelona but they must ensure they don’t drop any points. 

FC Barcelona and Mallorca played each other earlier in the season at the Camp Nou. It was a high scoring match which FC Barcelona won 5-2. Leo Messi was the star player with the Argentine scoring 3 goals. Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann both scored also for FC Barcelona.
