Real Salt Lake have been in pretty solid form lately despite coming off a loss on the road. They will now look to return to winning ways when they will host the Portland Timbers on Saturday. Portland have not been very good so far in the season but are coming off back to back wins.

Real Salt Lake (3-5-1) played a really fierce match on the road against the LA Galaxy but eventually lost by 1-2. That loss came after consecutive wins against Cincinnati and Orlando City, but Real Salt Lake have kept just two clean sheets so far in the season. They are now sitting at the 7th spot of the Western Conference with 10 points and the 2nd worst offense with 11 goals. Portland (2-5-1) are coming off yet another away win, their second in a row. This time it was in Toronto where they won by 2-1 after a 3-1 against Columbus Crew. But those were their first wins of the season. Portland have played all their matches on the road so far and have scored 11 goals against 19 conceded.
