The Timbers were really dangerous on the road this season, featuring the 2nd best record (6-8-3). However, they failed to win any of their last three away matches in all competitions.
Real Salt Lake played a really balanced match on the road against Vancouver and scored the only goal of the match for the final 1-0 win. That was their second consecutive but those were their only ones in their last five (2-2-1). Real Salt Lake are strongest when they play at home, where they had the 2nd best record in the Western Conference (12-4-1). Moreover they conceded the second fewest goals at home, with just 15. They have lost just one of their last 11 home matches (7-2-1).
