Two teams that were in totally opposite form prior to the break will lock horns on Sunday, when Real Sociedad will play host to Osasuna. The hosts are fighting for a Champions League ticket next season, while Osasuna are most likely safe from relegation.

They are currently sitting at the 4th spot of the league table with 46 points, as may as Getafe below them, while both teams are four points behind Sevilla. Real Sociedad have a 8-3-2 record at home so far, scoring 27 goals and conceding just 12. Moreover, they have won each of their last seven home matches in all competitions.

Osasuna (8-9-10) are coming off a slim 0-1 home win over Espanyol right before the break, but that was just their second win in their last seven matches, losing the other five. However, they are theoretically safe from any relegation scenarios, at least for now, as they are sitting at the 11th spot with 34 points, nine ahead of the red line. They actually have not been very bad on the road so far (3-5-5), but have won just one of their last five away matches in all competitions (1-1-3).
