Vancouver were coming off four consecutive draws when they traveled to Colorado last week. However, they broke that streak with a solid win, and will now look to build on that. They will play host to Orlando City on Saturday, who broke a little streak themselves. They had lost four in a row but bounced right back with a nice win in the US Open Cup.

Vancouver (5-5-5) finally recorded a win last week, when they escaped from Colorado with all three points after a 2-1 win. Prior to that they had four consecutive goal-draws against Houston, San Jose, FC Dallas and New England. They are now sitting at the 6th spot of the Western Conference with 20 points. Vancouver have been really hard to beat at home so far (2-1-4) but have kept just two clean sheets. They have scored at least twice in five of those but have conceded twice in four. Orlando City (6-6-1) had a pretty easy job in the 4th round of the US Open Cup, where they destroyed Miami United by 3-0 on the road. They really needed that win, as prior to that they had four consecutive losses for the MLS. Orlando City are now sitting at the 6th spot of the Eastern Conference with 19 points. They have been pretty unstable on the road so far (2-3-0), where they have kept just a single clean sheet and have conceded at least twice on three occasions.
