One of the few remaining underdogs in the fourth round of the US Open Cup are NPSL side Miami United. They will now clash against another Florida side, when they will play host to MLS unit Orlando City SC on Wednesday, for a spot in the fifth round of the competition.

They are the only team from the NPSL still remaining in the competition and had to come a long way in order to be here. They defeated FC Kendall by 2-5, Miami FC 2 by 3-1 on the road, and also Jacksonville Armada by 2-0 on the road. They will be looking to repeat Miami FC’s footsteps from last season, who made a deep run till the quarter-finals. Orlando City have been really streaky so far in the season, having won six straight at one point. However, they have been in very tough form lately, as they have lost each of their last four, conceding at least twice in each match. They are now sitting at the 6th spot of the Eastern Conference with 19 points after 13 matches (6-6-1). They have been hit-or-miss so far on the road (2-3-0), where they have only kept a single clean sheet. Their deepest US Open Cup has brought them to the quarter-finals twice, where they fell to the Chicago Fire both times.
