DC United struggled mightily to overcome USL side North Carolina in the previous round of the US Open Cup. However, they have won just one of their last five matches in all competitions (1-1-3) and are coming off a 4-4 draw where they were up by three goals. DC United have struggled a lot in all fronts, but they have not been as bad as Orlando City lately. Orlando City have been going through a really rough patch lately, having lost six of their last seven. Their only win over the past month was a 3-0 against Miami United in the previous round of the US Open Cup. That was also their only clean sheet in over two months, as Orlando City’s defense has conceded a ton of goals so far. Their schedule has been pretty bad lately, with five of their last six matches being on the road.
