Monaco have been a really great team in recent years but this season they are having a really bad time. However, they have been improving lately and they will now play host to Nice on Wednesday. Nice (8-6-5) are coming into this match after quite a lucky win at home against Bordeaux, in a match where they scored the only goal of the match at an early penalty kick. Their opponents were much better and deserved the win. That win put an end to Nice's six-match win-less streak (0-4-2), during which they scored just two goals. Nice are now sitting at the 8th spot of the league table with 29 points, four behind the 4th Saint Etienne and the European spots.
