Newcastle United at West Ham United 9/11/22 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

West Ham United hosts Newcastle United for Matchday 7 at London Stadium on Sept. 11.

West Ham is 1-1-4 after suffering a 2-1 loss to Chelsea in its last match. The Hammers led 1-0 in the second half before allowing goals in the 76th and 88th minutes. West Ham appeared to have the equalizer in the 90th minute, but the goal was disallowed after replay review.  

Newcastle United is 1-4-1 after a scoreless draw with Crystal Palace. This match also had a goal reversed following a review. Newcastle looked as though it had taken the lead six minutes after the break on an own goal by Palace, but the a review determined there had been a foul before the score.

The Magpies have seven goals this season to six allowed. The Hammers have scored just three times and allowed eight.

Newcastle has 22 wins and 12 draws in 48 Premier League matches against West Ham, but the Hammers secured four points against the Magpies last season. The clubs played to a 1-1 draw in February after West Ham got a 4-2 road win in August.
