Tottenham recorded a really anxious win at home against Watford in their last match and returned to positive results. They will now look to make it two in a row when they will play host to Newcastle on Saturday. Newcastle are coming off a massive win at home against Manchester City and have been in really good form lately.
Tottenham (18-6-0) were not very careful in their last match against Watford at home and allowed their opponents to take an early lead. But Tottenham scored two late goals to eventually win by 1-2, which was just their second win in their last five matches in all competitions (2-2-1). Tottenham are still sitting at the 3rd spot of the Premier League with 54 points, two behind Manchester City. They have also been strong at home (7-4-0), where they have won three of their last five.
Newcastle (6-12-6) are coming off their biggest win in quite a few years, as they managed to beat Manchester City by 1-2 at home. Their opponents actually took an early lead at the first minute of the match but Newcastle scored twice in the second half to eventually win by a slim 1-2. Newcastle are now sitting at the 14th spot with 24 points, five ahead of the relegation zone. The addition of Atlanta United forward Miguel Almiron will give a huge boost to a struggling attack.
