Newcastle at Liverpool 9/14/19 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

Liverpool have been perfect so far in the season and will now return from the break looking to pick up where they left off. They will play host to Newcastle on Saturday, who have not been in very good shape so far. They are capable of pulling upsets but they have yet to find chemistry.

Liverpool (4-0-0) pulled a really nice win before the international break, when they blasted Burnley by 3-0 on the road. Oddly enough, that was their first clean sheet in six matches in all competitions so far in the season. They are leading the Premier League with 12 points two ahead of Manchester City. They won both their home matches and scored seven goals combined, but conceded once in each match.

Newcastle (1-2-1) conceded an early goal in their home match against Watford but they did manage to salvage a point from that match. They have not found the correct chemistry so far in the season, but things look like they are clicking into place. Newcastle are sitting at the 14th spot of the league table with just 4 points so far, with three goals scored and five conceded.
