New York City FC have been in really good form lately, and will now look for their fifth win in a row when they will host New England on Saturday. New England have also been in pretty solid form lately, despite the fact that they have tasted win just once in over a month.

New England (10-9-9) played a really balanced match at home against Toronto, where they had to score a late goal in order to hold out for a 1-1 draw. They have been solid lately, but not great, as they are undefeated in their last four matches (1-0-3). And they have lost just one of their last 18 matches in all competitions. New England are 6th in the East with 39 points, one ahead of Toronto and two behind the Red Bulls. They are mediocre on the road (3-4-6) but are undefeated in their last nine.

NYCFC (14-5-8) also played a really balanced match last week, but successfully managed to blast Vancouver by 3-1 on the road. That was the fourth consecutive win for New York City, who have only kept a single clean sheet in their last 12 matches. Even so, they are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Eastern Conference with 50 points, just one behind Philadelphia. They have been really hard to beat at home (8-1-4), winning each of their previous four but keeping just one clean sheet.
