|Game||Seattle Sounders vs New England|
SEA -0.5 Total: 2.75
Seattle were missing some players in their previous match and couldn’t help it but lose to Sporting Kansas City. They will now look to avoid losing three in a row when they will host New England on Saturday. New England are also coming off a loss that put an end to their big streak.
New England (9-9-6) were cruising for a bruising for quite a while now, as they were undefeated in 12 consecutive matches in all competitions (6-0-6). But they eventually saw that streak come to an end when LAFC beat them by 2-0 at home. New England are sitting at the 7th spot of the Eastern Conference with 33 points, just as many as Montreal. They are now undefeated in their last seven matches in all competitions (3-0-4).
Seattle (11-7-5) were not very good in their home match against Sporting Kansas City, where they conceded two early goals and fell by 3-2. The Sounders have struggled a little bit lately but it’s mostly due to players missing. They are 4th in the Western Conference with 38 points, just as many as San Jose and Minnesota. Seattle were actually undefeated at home for the entire season but have now lost each of their last two. Moreover, they have only kept just one clean sheet in their last six home matches.
Ruidiaz should be back for Seattle and that gives them quite a lot offensive punch. Going with Seattle to win this one and avoid losing the third in a row. New England have been great and all but Seattle do have to bounce back at some point.
