Montreal Impact will be looking to make a positive start in coach Henry’s MLS debut with the team. They will play host to New England Revolution on Saturday, who did make it to the playoffs last season. The truth is that neither team had a pretty productive season and they will both look to do better in 2020.

New England barely made it to the playoffs last season, finishing at the 7th spot of the Eastern Conference with a 11-11-12 record. They were not that great on the road after all, winning just three of their 17 matches (3-6-8). However, they were leading in the first half in eight of those matches, but their inability to avoid conceding late goals cost them dearly. They won just three of those eight matches, conceding 11 away goals in the last 15 minutes of action.

Montreal Impact were terrible in the end of last season and could not book a playoff ticket. They finished at the 9th spot with 41 points and a 12-17-5 record. They were hit-or-miss at home (8-6-3), scoring 23 goals and conceding 22 in the process. Now under new coach Henry they will look to reach the playoffs after three consecutive seasons of not having done so. And Impact have been quite good in premieres, having not lost in any of their previous five (3-0-2).

The two teams split the points in a goal-less draw in this venue last season, after Montreal had won by 3-0 on the road. Montreal slightly have the upper hand as hosts against New England over the years (5-4-2), with six of the last seven matches here producing at least three goals. Gonna take the Over 2.75 Goals on this one.
