Columbus Crew have been one of the most solid teams in the start of the 2019 MLS season so far. They are coming off a nice win against Atlanta United at home and have been in terrific shape up to now. They will now have a theoretically easy job on Saturday when they will host New England. New England just recorded their first win and have not looked very good so far.

Columbus Crew (3-1-1) are coming off a somewhat lucky 0-2 win at home against Atlanta United. They actually took an early lead in that match and doubled that at the 39th with Zardes. Their opponents played better soccer but Columbus ended up winning by 0-2, they even missed on a penalty kick that would have made it 0-3. Columbus Crew are sitting at the 2nd spot of the Eastern Conference with 10 points, just as many as DC United ahead of them.

New England (1-3-1) played a really tough match at home against Minnesota United but managed to come out on top. Anibaba took the lead at the 10th minute but Minnesota United pulled even at the 26th with Quintero. But Bye scored the winning goal for New England at the 62nd minute for the final 1-2. That was the first win of the season for New England, who have yet to keep a single clean sheet. They are now sitting at the 10th spot of the Conference with 4 points, having scored five goals against nine conceded.
