Two teams that have been really good in the first edition of the UEFA Nations League will now meet in the Final, as hosts Portugal will take on the Netherlands on Sunday. Portugal were tremendous against Switzerland and brushed them aside in their path to the final, while the Netherlands proved to be better than England.

Portugal did not actually play really good as a team in their match against Switzerland, but they had Cristiano Ronaldo in a stunning night. He took the lead at the 25th minute but Switzerland pulled even at the hour mark with a penalty kick. However, Cristiano Ronaldo went on to score twice in a two-minute span towards the end of the match to grant his nation passage to the final. They are undefeated in their last 13 competitive home matches in all competitions (10-0-3) and six of their ten wins came to nil.
The Netherlands have finally got a nice generation of players, after almost a decade of suffering. This generation has a lot of Ajax players that stunned everyone in the Champions League this season, and players who play in top-tier tournaments in Europe (Van Dijk, Depay, Wijnaldum, Cillessen etc). The Netherlands conceded the first goal against England but pulled even in the second half and forced an extra time. They pretty much destroyed England in the 30 extra minutes and scored two more goals on their way to a nice 1-3 win.

The Netherlands have a knack for pulling back even after conceding the first goal in away matches, having done so in each of their last six away matches. Portugal have a ton of talent up front with Cristiano Ronaldo expected to carry the team once again. But the Dutch will know better and I expect them to play strong defense on him. Going with the Under 2.25 Goals here.
