FC Dallas hosts Nashville SC on Saturday in a MLS interconference fixture. Dallas is fourth in the Western Conference table at 6-5-4 on 23 points with a goal difference of +2. FC Dallas was defeated by Sporting Kansas City 2-1 Wednesday on the road. Dallas fell behind after the 60th minute 2-0, but Jesus Ferreira scored in second half stoppage time to narrow the deficit to one goal but the Toros could not add a second.

FC Dallas has just one loss in its most recent 15 matches played at home with nine victories and five draws including four victories in its most recent six matches at home with the other two ending in draws. Dallas has held its opponents to one goal or less in 17 consecutive matches at home. Jesus Ferreira is the leading goal scorer for Dallas with nine, while Tsiki Ntsabeleng is the leader in assists with three.

Nashville is second in the Eastern Conference table at 8-4-3 on 28 points with a goal difference of +12. Nashville took all three points at home last Sunday when defeating Columbus Crew 3-1. Nashville fell behind early after conceding a goal in the second minute but three unanswered goals by Fata Picault, Teal Bunbury and Hany Mukhtar gave Nashville the two-goal victory.

Nashville is unbeaten through each of its last seven matches played in the MLS with five wins and two draws including a run of five victories in its last six that include three straight. Nashville has taken 17 points over that stretch which is the most in a span of seven matches in the club’s history. Hany Mukhtar is leading Nashville in goals scored with nine and assists with seven.

Nashville eliminated Dallas from the US Open Cup in the fourth round this year with a 2-0 victory, which was the fifth clean sheet the club has kept against Dallas in seven all-time meetings. However, Dallas will be at home and has nine victories in its last 15 matches at home and has suffered just one loss over that span. Dallas will use its advantage at home and a strong presence up front led by Jesus Ferreira to take all three points on Saturday. Final Score Prediction, FC Dallas wins 2-1.
