Montreal Impact at FC Dallas 6/9/18 - MLS Picks & Predictions

Montreal Impact have been one of the worst teams in the MLS so far but are actually coming off a nice win last week. They will now have a tough job in making it two in a row, as they will be hosted by FC Dallas on Saturday.

FC Dallas (7-1-5) didn’t have any problems in the 4th round of the US Open Cup, where they defeated USL side San Antonio by a slim 1-0 on the road. That was their fourth consecutive win in all competitions and are now undefeated in their last seven (5-0-2). They are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Western Conference with 26 points, just two points behind Conference leaders SKC. FC Dallas have also been quite strong at home so far (4-0-4) but have managed to keep just two clean sheets there. Montreal Impact (4-10-0) actually recorded a nice 0-1 win at home against Houston last week. They really needed to return to winning ways, as they had lost eight of their previous nine matches. Even so, they are now sitting at the 9th spot of the Eastern Conference with 12 points. They have the worst defense in the MLS with 29 conceded and have lost the most matches than any other side. Needless to say, they have been equally bad on the road so far (1-7-0), where they have conceded multiple goals on six occasions.
