Montpellier (8-8-4) are coming off a tough 3-2 loss at home against Monaco in their last match. They conceded three goals before scoring twice, but they failed to take anything from that match. They are now win-less in their last six matches (0-4-2) but have scored two or more goals in three of those. Montpellier have now dropped to the 11th spot of the Ligue 1 with 28 points, scoring 33 and conceding 35 goals. They have been quite strong on the road so far (4-2-3), scoring 14 and conceding 12 goals.
