On Wednesday, the MLS All Stars will play the Liga MX All-Stars in the highly anticipated MLS All-Star Match. There has always been a rivalry between the US and Mexico when it comes to soccer and this match will only add to it as the best of the MLS will face the best of Liga MX. Head coach Bob Bradley at LAFC will lead the MLS All-Star team, which will have 13 players voted by fans and media, 13 chosen by Bradley and one by MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
Matt Turner and Pedro Gallese are the two goalkeepers for the MLS All-Star Club while the top defenders include Alex Roldan, Walker Zimmerman, Yeimar Gomez Andrade and Nouhou. The MLS midfield will be led by Carles Gil, João Paulo, Cristian Roldan and Lucas Zelarayan. The MLS attack will have plenty of scoring strength with Diego Rossi, Ricardo Pepi, Nani, Carlos Vela, Chicharito Hernandez and Raul Ruidiaz amongst others.
Twenty-six players will represent Liga MX on Wednesday in Los Angeles and defending Liga MX manager Juan Reynoso Guzman from Cruz Azul will be the manager. Eleven of the players were chosen by Guzman, 14 were the winners of the Golden Ball Awards of Liga MX and one additional player was named by the president of Liga MX.
Goalkeepers Guillermo Ochoa, Alfredo Talavera and Jesus Corona will represent Liga MX. The top defenders for the Liga MX All-Stars include Pablo Aguilar, Matheus Doria, Victor Guzman, Juan Escobar, Fernando Navarro and Salvador Reyes. The midfielders include Pedro Aquino, Luis Montes, Rubens Sambueza and Luis Romo. The Liga MX attack will be led by Alex Canelo, Santiago Munez, Jonathan Rodriguez and Andre-Pierre Gignac.
