However, Colorado won three of four matches during September and is now beginning the postseason in fifth. The leading goal scorers for Colorado during the regular season were Jonathan Lewis and Cole Bassett with five each. Jack Price was the leader in assists with five.

Over the most recent five matches played between these two MLS Western Conference rivals, Minnesota has two victories, Colorado has two victories and one has ended in a draw. Minnesota defeated Colorado 2-1 on October 28th in the most recent meeting between the two.
