The LA Galaxy have had mixed results in the start of the season, starting off with a win but following up with a loss against Dallas. They will now return home for their next match, where they will host the amazing Minnesota United. Minnesota United have been really good so far in the season, winning both matches on the road.

The LA Galaxy (1-1-0) started off with a nice 1-2 home win against Chicago, in a match where they had to come back from one goal behind. But they fell hard in their first away match of the season, by 0-2 against FC Dallas. The Galaxy had a lot of scoring chances in that match but just a single shot on the opposing target. Their opponents scored twice in an eight-minute span at the start of the second half and secured a nice 0-2 win. Minnesota United (2-0-0) made a spectacular start in the new season with two wins in their first two matches that were also road matches. First they did a great job to beat Vancouver by 3-2 and then doubled up with an even bigger 3-0 win against San Jose. It was a balanced match in terms of scoring chances but Minnesota United scored three times in the second half to reach a massive win. They are now 2nd in the Western Conference on a triple tie with Seattle and LAFC.
