Paris Saint Germain will start another season looking to win the elusive Champions League, and they will do so with quite a few headaches. They will play host to Manchester United on Tuesday, who are coming off a huge confidence boost. However, the hosts will have to deal with a lot of absences here.

Paris SG have been in extremely good form lately, winning each of their last five matches, conceding just a single goal in the process. They will come into this match without a ton of players, as Bernat, Icardi and Kehrer are unavailable,while Paredes, Marquinhos, Pereira and Verratti are all doubtful to participate. PSG did a tremendous job in their Group last season (Real Madrid, Galatasaray, Club Brugge), finishing at the top (5-0-1). Moreover, they won all four home matches with clean sheets last season.

Manchester United are coming off a really solid 4-1 win against Newcastle. They had conceded an early own goal but scored three goals in the last ten minutes to record a huge win. They really needed that after a 6-1 home thrashing against Tottenham. Even so, they have now won four of their last five, scoring at least three goals in each match. Moreover, they have scored three or more goals in each of their last four away matches. Manchester United finished at the top of their Europa Group last season (4-1-1), making it all the way to the semi-finals where they lost to Sevilla.
