This weekend’s marquee match-up is without a doubt the one between Manchester United and Liverpool. The two rivals will meet after the unfinished business of that 1-1 draw in Manchester earlier in the season and are both coming in hot after winning their previous matches.

Manchester United (9-6-7) were tremendous in their home match against Norwich, especially in the second half, blasting their opponents by 0-4. They have now won three of their last five league matches (3-2-0). Manchester United are now sitting at the 5th spot of the league table with 34 points, five behind the top-four. They have not been anything special on the road though (3-5-3), winning just two of their last eight in all competitions (2-4-2).

Liverpool (20-0-1) are coming off a slim, yet strong, 1-0 win on the road against Tottenham in their last match and have now won twelve league matches in a row and keeping clean sheets in their last five. They are on track to finish the season undefeated, as they are still 13 points ahead of Manchester City. Liverpool have won all 11 matches at home so far but kept clean sheets only in their last three.
