Orlando City Stadium
Orlando City are coming off a bad loss and have been struggling with consistency issues lately. They will now look to return to winning ways when they will return home, where they will host LAFC on Saturday. LAFC are also coming off a loss that put an end to their undefeated streak.
LAFC (19-4-5) are coming off a really frustrating 2-0 loss at home against Minnesota United. Their opponents created few scoring chances but scored both goals in the first half, while LAFC were unable to respond. That loss put an end to their six-match undefeated streak (5-0-1). Despite the loss, LAFC are still leading the Western Conference with 62 points, 16 ahead of Seattle. They have the best away record in the Conference (8-3-3) scoring 33 and conceding just 13 goals so far.
Orlando City (9-13-7) played a pretty weak match on the road against San Jose, and eventually lost by an easy 0-3. They conceded all three goals by the 33rd minute and were easily defeated. That was their second consecutive loss, failing to score in both, as Orlando City have now won just one of their last six matches in all competitions (1-3-2). They are sitting at the 9th spot of the Eastern Conference with 34 points, four behind the playoffs. Orlando City have not been very good at home (6-7-1), where they haven’t won back-to back matches since late April.
This will be the second match ever between the two sides, with LAFC having blasted Orlando City by 1-4 in their only previous encounter. LAFC have a 16-point advantage and are pretty safe for now. Orlando City are fighting to make the playoffs and could prove to be a hard nut to crack here. Going with the Under 3.25 Goals here.
