The 18th round of the Premier League kicks off this Friday with a very tricky match, as Wolves will play host to Liverpool. Wolves have managed to come out of their recent slump and have now won three in a row. Liverpool are coming off a great win over Manchester United and have been in much better form overall.
Wolves (7-6-4) should be feeling lucky about the outcome of their last match, where they beat Bournemouth by 0-2 at home. They were not very good in that match but managed to take an early lead and hold on, before sealing the win with another goal at the stoppage time. Wolves have now won three in a row and climbed back to the 7th spot of the Premier League with 25 points. They have been quite mediocre at home so far (4-3-2), where they have now won two in a row after three consecutive losses. Only three of their nine home matches featured Over 2.5 Goals this season and Wolves scored in all three.
Liverpool (14-0-3) emerged victorious from their home match against Manchester United last week, blasting them by a nice 1-3. They were pretty dominant in that match but had two score twice in the last 20 minutes of the match in order to record a very nice win. Liverpool have now won five in a row in all competitions and have yet to be defeated in the Premier League. They remained at the top of the league table with 45 points, just one ahead of Manchester City. Liverpool have a 7-0-2 away record in the league so far, scoring 19 goals while conceding just 5 in the process. However, they lost all three away matches for the Champions League.
