Liverpool at Watford 11/24/18 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

Liverpool went through a rough patch earlier in November but they managed to enter the break after a win in their last match. They will not have an easy job in their return to action, as they will be hosted by Watford on Saturday. Watford were in worse shape before the break but have been rather steady throughout the whole season.

Watford (6-4-2) played a pretty balanced match against Southampton on the road before the international break. Their opponents were slightly better at the start of the match and took an early lead, but Watford didn’t stop pushing. They eventually found an equalizer towards the end of the match and salvaged a point from the 1-1 draw. Watford had won just two of their last five matches before the break, but are still sitting 7th in the league table with 20 points. They have been quite solid at home so far (4-2-0), but have kept just two clean sheets in the process. Liverpool (9-0-3) are coming into this match having won their previous one, a 0-2 at home against Fulham before the break. They didn’t have to play an awful lot in that match and scored a goal in each half to reach a nice win. They really needed that as they were win-less in two prior to that. Liverpool are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Premier League with 30 points, still two behind Manchester City. Liverpool have remained undefeated on the road in their Premier League duties (4-0-2) but have lost both matches for the Champions League without even scoring.
