Salzburg have been one of the surprise packages of the Champions League this season and they will now face a tough task. In the final Match-day of the group stage they will host Liverpool, and they are looking only for a win that will see them through to the next round.

Liverpool (3-1-1) could not overcome Napoli once again, as they split the points in a 1-1 draw at home in their last match. They have won all the other matches but have a draw and a loss against Napoli. Liverpool are currently at the top of the group with 10 points, Napoli have 9 and Salzburg have 7. A loss here could potentially drop them to the 3rd spot and the Europa League, so Liverpool should be very careful.

Salzburg (2-2-1) were tremendous in their last match, blasting Genk by a massive 4-1 on the road. They have been excellent in this group stage so far, and are a real threat to Liverpool. In the reverse match they came back from three goals behind but eventually lost by 3-4. Salzburg score a TON of goals and also concede a lot, with four of their five matches so far having featured at least five goals.
