Chelsea and Liverpool met tough losses without even scoring in the Champions League, and will now return to domestic duties with a match against one another. Chelsea will look to break Liverpool’s winning streak in this season’s Premier League, while Liverpool will look to bounce back from a tough loss against Napoli.

Liverpool (5-0-0) saw Newcastle take the lead when they hosted them last week. But scored three goals to eventually win that match by 1-3, to make it five our of five so far in the season. But they did lose to Napoli by 2-0 mid-week, for the Champions League. Even so, Liverpool are leading the Premier League with 15 points, scoring 15 goals so far, while conceding just four.

Chelsea (2-1-2) were tremendous in their away match against Leicester, destroying them by 5-2 in a strong performance. They were already leading by three goals by the end of the first half and even scored a fourth before their opponents started to attack. Despite the win, it was the third consecutive match that Chelsea concede at least two goals, and the fourth time this season. The Blues are sitting at the 8th spot of the league table with 8 points, scoring 11 goals, while conceding just as many.
