Leicester have done a really good job in the new season, as they are currently sitting behind only Manchester City and Liverpool. They will now have a tough task ahead of them, as they will be hosted by league leaders Liverpool on Saturday. Liverpool are coming into this match on a winning streak and they are starting to heat up.
Leicester (4-1-2) completely destroyed Newcastle by a massive 0-5 at home last week. But they did have some good luck with an opponent red card and an own goal. That was their third consecutive win in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and conceding just one in the process. Leicester are sitting 3rd in the league table with 14 points, just two points behind Manchester City. And they have lost just once in their five away matches in all competitions (2-1-2).
Liverpool (7-0-0) did not have it easy mid-week in the Champions League, where they had to score a late goal in order to win by 3-4. Last week they struggled to beat Sheffield United by 1-0 on the road, but have now won four in a row. Liverpool are the only team to have won all seven matches so far and it is natural that they are alone at the top of the league table. They have won all four home matches this season but didn’t keep a single clean sheet.
