Everton returned to poor performances after a massive away win over Burnley and proved that they are now in very good shape lately. They will now look for a way out of their slump when they will play host to Leicester on Tuesday. Leicester are coming off a shocking loss at home against Cardiff, considering the fact that they beat Manchester City and Chelsea in their last two.

Everton (7-7-6) are coming into this match after a really frustrating 0-1 loss on the road against Brighton. They were really good in the first half but it was a much more balanced second half, where Brighton scored the only goal of the match to win by 0-1. That loss came after a massive 5-1 away win over Burnley, which was actually their only win in their last seven matches (1-4-2). Everton are now sitting at the 10th spot with 27 points, just one behind Leicester. They have been really strong at home so far (5-2-3) but are win-less in their last three. Leicester (8-8-4) somehow beat Chelsea by 1-0 on the road and Manchester City by 1-2 at home prior to their home match against Cardiff. Even though they were much better in the first half they couldn’t take the lead, and even failed to take it when they missed a penalty kick at the 82nd minute. Cardiff eventually scored a late goal to win by 1-0. Oddly enough, Leicester have only won those two matches in their last seven in all competitions (2-3-2). They are now sitting 8th in the league table with 28 points, just one behind Wolves. Leicester have been quite competitive on the road (4-4-2), having lost just once in their last five (2-1-2).
