Real Madrid did great to overcome Juventus in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and are now through to the semis. However, in-between their crucial matches against Bayern Munich, they will have to play host to Leganes this Saturday, for the 35th Match-day of the La Liga. Leganes have not been in very good form lately, but they can be a threat here.

Real Madrid (20-5-8) are coming off yet another upset in the La Liga last week, where they were stuck at a 1-1 draw at home against Athletic Bilbao. They were actually dominant in that match, but they conceded at just the 14th minute of that match. Even so, Cristiano Ronaldo pulled even for Real Madrid at the 87th minute, salvaging a point as a result. Real Madrid are now sitting at the 3rd spot of the La Liga with 68 points, two points ahead of Valencia and four points behind Atletico Madrid, with both these teams having played one more match. Real Madrid are surely interested for a win here, but they will be in-between their matches for the Champions League semi-finals. On the other hand, Leganes (11-16-7) fought really hard against the visiting Deportivo La Coruna last week, but the two teams split the points. Both teams had their fair share of scoring chances, but Leganes failed to record a single shot on target in that match. They haven't been in the best of forms lately, having won just one of their last five (1-3-1). Leganes are now sitting at the 15th spot of the La Liga with 40 points, 12 points ahead of the relegation zone. They have the third worst offense in the league, but they also have a somewhat tight defense.
