The two bottom teams in the La Liga will face off against one another on Sunday, when Espanyol will play host to Leganes. Espanyol are coming off yet another loss and have been in really bad shape this season. Leganes have not been much better, and it is no wonder these two teams sit in the depths.

Espanyol (5-19-9) actually took the lead on the road against Real Sociedad, but they conceded two second-half goals to eventually lose by 1-2. They have now lost four in a row and are win-less in their last five, scoring just two goals in that span. Espanyol are still stuck to the bottom of the league table with 24 points, now ten points below the relegation zone. They have the worst home record in the league (2-9-5), but they have lost just two of their last nine matches there (3-2-4).

Leganes (5-18-10) probably did not deserve such a bad loss in their home match against Sevilla, but they did lose by 3-0 and remained win-less in their six matches since the restart (0-4-2). Moreover, they have scored just three goals in that span. They are still sitting in the penultimate spot of the league table with 25 points, nine points below the relegation line. Leganes have won just once on the road this season (1-9-6), and have the worst away offense with just 10 goals.
