LAFC at Seattle Sounders 4/28/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

The Seattle Sounders failed to beat the sneaky San Jose Quakes on Wednesday and are now without a win in their last two. They will now have another tough task coming their way, as they will play host to LAFC on Sunday, less than a week after their last meeting. LAFC won that match easily and the Sounders will look for revenge here.

Seattle (5-1-2) almost suffered an upset in their home match against San Jose but managed to come back from two goals behind to secure a draw. They have not been in the best of shapes lately, having won just two of their last five, including a massive 1-4 loss on the road against LAFC. The Sounders are now sitting at the 3rd spot of the Western Conference with 17 points, two behind the LA Galaxy and five behind LAFC. They have been tremendous at home so far in the season (4-0-1). LAFC (7-1-1) did not play mid-week, so their most recent match was that 1-4 at home against Seattle. They are having a really strong season so far and it is no wonder they are sitting at the top of the Western Conference with 22 points. LAFC have been really strong on the road so far, despite a 2-2 draw against NYCFC and a 0-1 loss to Vancouver. Their other two matches were a 5-0 against San Jose and a 4-0 against DC United.
