LAFC at Columbus Crew 5/11/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

Columbus Crew finally showed signs of life in their last match when they recorded a really nice win over the LA Galaxy. They will now look to record back to back wins when they will host to other LA franchise on Saturday, LAFC. LAFC are coming off a couple of draws but are still leading the Western Conference.

Columbus Crew (5-6-1) did a really good job in their home match against the LA Galaxy, where they took a three-goal lead before conceding a harmless goal for the final 1-3. That was their first win after a bad, five-match losing streak where they scored just two goals. Columbus Crew are now sitting at the 5th spot of the Eastern Conference with 16 points, just as many as Toronto. Columbus have been quite solid at home (4-2-1) failing to score just once. LAFC (7-1-3) will surely be feeling frustrated about the outcome of their last match, as they were much better than Chicago Fire but were stuck at a goal-less draw. That was their second consecutive draw, as LAFC have won just one of their last four (1-1-2). Even so, they are still sitting at the top of the Western Conference with 24 points, now two ahead of the LA Galaxy. LAFC have been quite solid on the road as well (2-1-2) scoring 12 goals so far while conceding just four.
