Two teams that have been suffering a lot this season will now look to find stability, when Montreal will play host to the LA Galaxy on Monday. Montreal are coming off back to back losses against Chicago and Philadelphia without even scoring. The Galaxy have lost four in a row, and each of the last three by the same score.
Montreal Impact (3-8-0) are coming off yet another loss, this time by 2-0 at home against Philadelphia Union. We already know that their defense is tragic, but at least they were scoring goals till recently. Now their offense is broken as well, as they have failed to score any goals in their last two. They have now slid to the penultimate spot of the Eastern Conference with their 9 points, having scored 14 goals so far, while featuring the worst defense in the MLS with 26 conceded.
The LA Galaxy (3-6-1) are the living example that no matter the players in a team's roster, they gotta have a decent coach as well. They are coming off a tough 2-3 loss on the road against FC Dallas, which was their fourth in a row. Oddly enough, they have lost each of their last three matches by the same 2-3 scoreline against FC Dallas and Houston on the road, and against the Red Bulls at home. The Galaxy are now sitting at the 9th spot of the Western Conference with 10 points, just two points ahead of the bottom spot.
