The Colorado team is heading into this game with a two game winning streak. What is just as impressive is the fact that the Rapids have ended up shutting out their opponents in the last 2 games as well. The Colorado team was able to put in a total of 4 goals in the last 2 games a well. So it is easy to see that the Rapids offense has started to improve quite a bit. The downside is the Rapid are coming in with only 33 points on the year and are only 6 points out of last place.

Kei Kamara has been the leading goal scorer for the Rapids on the year with 11 goals, but only has managed to get a single assist on the season. Diego Rubio is the second leading scorer for the Rapids with 9 goals and has managed to get 4 assist on the year. As a team the offense has not been the issue for the Rapids as they have scored 47 goals this year, but the defense is the major issue as they have allowed 54 goals.

The Galaxy have scored 41 goals on the year, but the defense has allowed 45 goals this season.
