Juventus vs Torino 7/4/20 - Serie A Picks & Predictions

Serie A leaders Juventus will host Torino in a top flight Italian league showdown on Saturday. Juventus is four points clear of second-place Lazio at the top of the table with just nine matches left to play. Juventus is well on its way to winning a ninth consecutive Scudetto or Serie A championship. Following a loss to Napoli in penalties in the final of the Coppa Italia, the Old Lady returned to Serie A action and defeated Bologna 2-0 followed by a 4-0 rout of Lecce and 3-1 defeat of Genoa.

Danilo is expected to continue playing at left-back as both Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio are injured. Juventus will also be without Giorgio Chiellini and Merih Demiral as well as midfielder Sami Khedira.  Juventus has won by 2 goals or more and six of its last seven matches at home in Serie A play. Expect several changes in the Juventus line up with Aaron Ramsey, Douglas Costa and Blaise Matuidi likely starting.

Torino continues it's disappointing season after sacking manager Walter Mazzarri in February and not seeing any more success under new manager Moreno Longo. Longo's side is only six points clear of the drop zone and has lost eight of its last 10 fixtures in Serie A action, as well as dropping five straight on the road.  

Torino returned from the coronavirus break with a 1-1 draw at home against Parma and a home win of 1-0 against Udinese. Following the win over Udinese, Torino was embarrassed by Cagliari 4-2 followed by a loss at home 2-1 to Lazio. Daniele Baselli will not play as the central midfielder continues to rehab a cruciate ligament injury.
