Italian Serie A – Matchday 38 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

We have finally reached the final day of the 2019/20 Serie A season. The title and the European places have been decided, but there is still one relegation spot that needs to be filled. Either Genoa or Lecce will join SPAL and Brescia in Serie B next term, but who will beat the drop?

Here are the best bets for the final day of the Serie A campaign.

SPAL vs. Fiorentina – 08/02/20

Considering that SPAL (6.00) has suffered nine defeats in their previous 11 outings, I’m confident that Fiorentina (1.40) will win this game. But the odds for the home win don’t offer much value here. To enhance the price, I recommend adding the over 2.5 goals market into the mix. La Viola thrashed Bologna 4-0 last time out and also netted over 2.5 goals in their recent victory over Lecce. Furthermore, each of SPAL’s last four defeats have produced at least three goals, with Inter scoring four and Roma scoring six. All the signs are pointing towards a high-scoring Fiorentina win.

Pick: Fiorentina to Win and over 2.5 Goals – 1.91

Sassuolo vs. Udinese – 08/02/20

It is no secret that Sassuolo has a crazy record at both ends of the pitch, so I think this bet explains itself. The home side (1.91) is the bookies’ favorite to win this matchup, while Udinese (3.30) is the outsider. But in my opinion, the over 3.5 goals market offers the best value. Sassuolo brushed aside Genoa last time out by netting five against the relegation struggler, meaning seven of their 12 games since the lay-off have produced over 3.5 goals. In my eyes, this is an excellent opportunity to double your money on the final day of the 2019/20 Serie A season.

Pick: Over 3.5 Goals – 2.00

Genoa vs. Verona and Lecce vs. Parma – 08/02/20

I’ve gone for something a little bit different here. Either Genoa or Lecce will be relegated on the final day, so both sides know they must win. Genoa currently sits one place and one point ahead of Lecce, while Verona and Parma have nothing left to play for this term. Considering what is at stake in these two games, I’m confident that Genoa and Lecce will both win to give themselves the best possible opportunity of avoiding relegation. The bookies have priced the home wins in these fixtures at 1.53, so I recommend combining both bets to boost the odds.

Pick: Genoa and Lecce to Win – 2.35
