Italian Serie A – Matchday 37 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

We have now reached the penultimate round of the 2019/20 Serie A season, and although Juventus has already won the title, there is still plenty of business to sort out. Either Lecce or Genoa will join already-relegated Brescia and SPAL in Serie B next term, while Roma, AC Milan, and Napoli are all battling for a Europa League spot.

Here are the best value Serie A bets for Matchday 37.

Udinese vs. Lecce – 07/29/20

Udinese (2.40) should win this game. After all, Luca Gotti’s side has been head and shoulders above Lecce (3.00) all season. But given that Udinese has already renewed their top-flight status for another year, I think the away side stands an excellent chance picking up three points here. The host has nothing left to play for this term, while Lecce must win to keep their Serie A dreams alive. With just two games remaining this season, the Giallorossi is still four points from safety, so the incentive to win on Wednesday could not be greater.

Pick: Lecce to Win – 3.00

Sampdoria vs. AC Milan – 07/29/20

The bookies have made Milan (1.62) the clear favorite to win this game, while Sampdoria (4.50) is the outsider for obvious reasons. However, despite the 19-point gulf between these two sides, I’m expecting this to be an open matchup with plenty of goalscoring opportunities at both ends of the pitch. Claudio Ranieri’s men have won five of their last eight outings, so they will definitely put up a decent fight against Milan. Granted, the Rossoneri hasn’t lost any of their previous ten games. But having only kept two clean sheets since the restart, both teams are likely to score in this clash. This option offers slightly better value than the away win.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.80

Torino vs. Roma – 07/29/20

Torino (4.50) has been in woeful form since the turn of the year, losing 11 of their 19 league games in 2020. It feels like Moreno Longo’s side has been in freefall for the majority of the campaign, and this is largely down to their poor defensive record. Indeed, Torino has conceded over 1.5 goals in 12 of their last 13 defeats. By contrast, Roma (1.67) has scored at least two goals in each of their previous six games, and the capital club has claimed five wins during that period. All the signs are pointing towards another high-scoring victory for the away side.

Pick: Roma to Win and Over 1.5 Goals – 1.91
