Italian Serie A – Matchday 34 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

Title-chasers Juventus and Lazio clash for a hugely important battle of the top of Serie A on Monday. At the other end of the table, Sampdoria will be aiming to steer further clear of the relegation zone with a positive result against Parma. Roma and Inter also meet for a tasty tie on Matchday 34.

Here are this week’s best Serie A bets.

Parma vs. Sampdoria – 07/19/20

Parma (3.00) have been miles ahead of Sampdoria (2.50) for most of the season. But due to the contrasting recent form of the two teams, the bookies have made the away side the favorite to win this game. However, I’m not sure that picking the winner of this game is a good idea. Instead, I like the look of the both teams to score market. Parma have been poor recently, but they have still managed to score goals. In fact, each of Parma’s previous eight league games have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Sampdoria have also been netting a lot lately, but their defense is prone to leaking goals.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.80

Roma vs. Inter Milan – 07/19/20

Inter come into this clash as the bookies’ favorite at 2.20, while you can get odds of 2.88 for the Roma win. I predicted that Inter will win this game. But given that Roma are on a three-game winning streak, it may be difficult for Antonio Conte’s men to get the upper hand. Having said that, I still expect Inter to cause Roma plenty of problems. After all, the Milan outfit have been scoring goals for run recently. The Nerazzurri have netted at least two goals in seven of their previous eight outings, so I'm backing Inter to score over 1.5 goals against a Roma team that have kept just one clean sheet in their last four games.

Pick: Inter Milan to Score Over 1.5 Goals – 2.00

Juventus vs. Lazio – 07/20/20

It’s hardly surprising that Juventus (1.57) are the favorites heading into this game. The league leaders have opened up an eight-point lead over fourth-place Lazio (5.00), but neither side has been convincing since the restart. Juventus won four straight games after the break, but one defeat and two draws in their last three outings have prevented the club from clinching the title. Meanwhile, Lazio have only managed to win two of their seven games since the resumption – losing four and drawing one. It’s difficult to predict which way this game will go, but I’m expecting to see plenty of goals.

Pick: Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals – 1.99
