Italian Serie A – Matchday 31 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

The jam-packed Serie A fixture list continues to dish up games on a daily basis, and there are plenty of exciting matchups for us to enjoy – and bet on – this week. 

Here are the best bets for Matchday 31 of the 2019/20 Serie A season.  

Bologna vs. Sassuolo – 07/08/20 

This is set to be an entertaining game between two evenly-matched mid-table teams. Ninth-place Bologna currently lead Sassuolo by just a single point. These two sides have the worst defensive records in the top half, but they have both scored more goals than a number of teams above them in standings. Each of Sassuolo’s previous six games have produced over 2.5 goals, while three of those games have produced over 5.5 goals! It’s difficult to predict which way this clash will go. But one thing is certain, there will be plenty of goals. 

Pick: Over 3.5 Goals – 2.25 

SPAL vs. Udinese – 07/09/20 

SPAL are rock bottom of Serie A after winning just one of their last ten games. The Ferrara outfit have conceded eight goals across their previous three games and have conceded over 1.5 goals on every occasion. Meanwhile, Udinese have found their scoring boots recently. The Little Zebras have struggled for goals throughout the season, but they have now scored over 1.5 goals in each of their last three games. Odds of 2.25 for Udinese to continue their high-scoring run against a weak SPAL defense seems too good to miss. 

Pick: Over 1.5 Udinese Goals – 2.25 

Verona vs. Inter Milan – 07/09/20 

These two teams have been very unpredictable since the campaign got back underway. Verona have a record of W2-D1-L2 since the restart – scoring eight and conceding eight. On the other hand, Inter have a record of W3-D1-L1 during the same period. Inter thrashed Brescia 6-0 last week, but they have conceded in every other game since the resumption. Verona’s goalscoring record also suggest that we will see goals at both ends in this matchup. Inter are the favorite to win at 1.70, but the both teams to score market offers better value.
